Tauron Polska Energia was chosen the company of the quarter by the Polish daily "Puls Biznesu”.
“In the most prestigious category the first place goes to Tauron. The decisive factors included the results, share price increase, positive recommendations and the future inclusion in WIG20 index”, the daily wrote.
In the third quarter both, Tauron’s operating profit and net profit were by several percent higher than the average estimate projected by analysts. Good results were confirmed in numerous “buy” recommendations issued by analysts from Polish and foreign brokerage houses. From 17 December 2010 the company will be included in WIG20, the index of the twenty largest companies on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
