Board and trade unions reached agreement on salaries

On 11 July 2011 representatives of TAURON Polska Energia Management Board and the Council of Employees representing the trade unions present in the capital group reached an agreement concerning terms of salary calculation in subsidiaries. It was agreed that salary increase in individual companies will depend on, among other things, economic effects achieved by those companies.

The agreement will be valid for two years. The adopted regulations will be applicable in individual subsidiaries upon their approval by the companies’ management boards and trade unions.
“This is a modern solution, in which salary increase depends on results – both financial results and cost reduction. It will motivate to work even better and will also guarantee transparent remuneration for the work done. Each employee will care about his or her company achieving the best results”, said Dariusz Lubera, president of the Management Board at TAURON Polska Energia.
In line with the adopted regulations, the salary increase in TAURON Group companies will also depend on the inflation ratio.
