Two years ago, TAURON Polska Energia received an honorable mention in the competition “The Best Annual Report 2010” for application of IFRS/IRS, and last year - for the use value of the annual report for the year 2011.
- We have been a listed company for three years now, it has been the third time we participated in the competition, we have been awarded for the third time and this year we received as much as three awards. This is an effect of works of teams in the TAURON Group, who are involved in preparation of periodic reports – said Krzysztof Zawadzki, CFO of TAURON Polska Energia upon receipt of the award.
The underlying objective of the competition “The Best Annual Report” is to establish recognized standards for development of annual reports in accordance with IFRS/ IRS, in line with the best practices in this scope, and at the same time to promote companies which prepare the best consolidated annual reports from the perspective of the use value for shareholders and investors.
- Last year TAURON was awarded for the greatest headway in the category “Best use value of annual report”. This time the jury stressed the remarkable clarity of the report, respect towards shareholders and adequate proportions - said Krzysztof Grabowski, the head of the jury evaluating the use value of the annual report, during the gala.
