At its meeting on 10 October the supervisory board of TAURON Polska Energia supplemented the composition of the Management Board of the Company, appointing – on request of the President, Jerzy Kurella – Anna Striżyk to the position of Vice-President for Economics and Finance and Piotr Kołodziej - to the position of Vice-President for Strategy and Development.
As of 10 October, the Management Board of TAURON Polska Energia has been operating in its full composition, consisting of five-members.
- TAURON Group is currently involved in many important projects, therefore, supplementing the management board by appointing new Vice-Presidents to supervise the implementation of the Group's strategy and its financial standing, is extremely important – says Jerzy Kurella, President of the Management Board of TAURON Polska Energia. - I am pleased that experienced managers, acquainted with the energy sector and its specific nature have become new members of the Management Board. I believe that they will be well received by the market.
Anna Striżyk, Vice-President of the Management Board for Economics and Finance, acted as the Vice-President in Zespół Elektrowni Pątnów – Adamów – Konin (Pątnów – Adamów – Konin Power Plant Complex) over the last 15 years (2000-2015), where she was dealing, inter alia, with the organisation of financing, restructuring in the financial and trade area, supervision over the budget, as well as controlling, accounting, reporting processes, management of relations with banks, cooperation with auditors.
Piotr Kołodziej, Vice-President of the Management Board for Strategy and Development, as of 2012 acted as the President of the Management Board of TAURON Dystrybucja, the key company of TAURON Group. He was active in the energy sector from 1970. He worked, consecutively, in Zakład Energetyczny Gliwice, Górnośląski Zakład Elektroenergetyczny (management board member responsible for technical issued and energy trading), Vattenfall Distribution (president of the management board) Vattenfall Europe (member of the management board).
