TAURON Polska Energia made the 2014 Annual Report available online. The document contains a comprehensive summary of financial standing and operating activity of the Group in the previous year. The complex interactive character of the report enabled to launch many new functionalities for users - so far not found among Polish listed companies.
– The annual report we have just made available confirms the considerable attention we pay to communication with the environment. Abandoning of the static form enabled us to present the financial and operating data in a much more comprehensive, useful way, convenient for the user. We believe that such an approach allows for much better understanding of our activity and, first of all, that it saves time of our shareholders and business environment – says Dariusz Lubera, President of the Management Board of TAURON Polska Energia.
The annual report was built in accordance with the RWD (Responsive Web Design) technology, accordingly, it adjusts to screens of various sizes (stationary devices, tablets, smartphones, etc.). The report also contains many facilities for users, such as, inter alia, importing of selected data to various file formats, making notes, or accessibility tools for the visually impaired.
The internet report is fully consistent with the annual exchange report of TAURON Group published in March this year. Moreover, it contains many additional solutions of key importance, inter alia, from the point of view of shareholders.
Last year TAURON Polska Energia received the main award granted by the jury of "The Best Annual Report 2013" competition, for the annual report of TAURON Group for 2013 and the distinction for the annual report on Internet. However, the company decided to make a step forward and introduce many new functionalities and solutions dedicated to investors and other stakeholder groups in the latest report.
– The domain of the report is its interactive nature. We have introduced completely new, innovative tools which significantly facilitate analysing of our shares and activity. They include, inter alia, interactive graphics enabling fast tracking of changes in analysts' recommendations. The tool contains all recommendations issued for our shares since the debut which took place five years ago. Users of the report will find in it many solutions of this type – explains Paweł Gniadek, director of the Department of Market Communication and PR.
Besides the broadly used interactivity, the report contains many photo and video materials and animations, reflecting the business model and strategy of TAURON Group in a transparent way. The document also enables easy transfer to the online Sustainability Report as well as other useful data such as, inter alia, last year's reports or statements published in the ESPI exchange system.
